My account is locked. What should I do?

Account locked guide

Your account may lock after several incorrect password attempts. This is a security feature.

Steps to try

  1. Wait 10 minutes before trying again.
  2. Check Caps Lock and keyboard layout.
  3. Try signing in to Microsoft 365 in a browser.
  4. If still locked, raise a ticket.

Ticket information required

  • Your full name
  • Your school email address
  • Approximate time the issue started
  • Whether the problem happens on one device or all devices
Tip: When raising a ticket, include your school, room/location, device name and a screenshot of any error message.
