How do I reset my Windows password?

Windows password reset guide

If you cannot log in to your school Windows device, follow these checks first.

Quick checks

  1. Check that Caps Lock is not enabled.
  2. Check that your username is typed correctly.
  3. Restart the device and try again.
  4. If you recently changed your password, try the new password.

If it still does not work

Submit a support ticket and include:

  • Your full name
  • Your username/email address
  • Your school name
  • The device name if visible
  • A screenshot of the login error

Important: Never share your password in a ticket.

Tip: When raising a ticket, include your school, room/location, device name and a screenshot of any error message.
