External monitor not working

Use this guide if your screen, monitor, or display is blank.

  1. Check the monitor is switched on.
  2. Check the HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C cable is connected.
  3. Press Windows + P.
  4. Choose Duplicate or Extend.
  5. Restart the laptop if needed.

If it still fails, raise a ticket with your room/location and a photo of the connections.

Tip: When raising a ticket, include your school, room/location, device name and a screenshot of any error message.
